Alma recently had a 7-episode recurring guest star arc on THE BRIDGE playing Graciela Rivera, the Immigrant Smuggler who organized the use of a tunnel to Mexico. One of the few Latina members of the actor branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Alma has a long list of TV and film roles, including RAKE, WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, THE UNIT, BORN IN EAST L.A., and UNDER FIRE. Alma has a PhD in Theater and has been a professor of theater and acting at the university level. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
