Additional Notes: Already a household name in Portugal (and a growing presence in the Spanish market) with a career spanning over 15 years in top rated tv, film and stage productions (including the lead male role in the #1 rated Portuguese series "Laços de Sangre" which won the 2011 International Emmy for Best Telenovela), Diogo first transitioned to the US market last year shooting a lead role in the gritty urban feature film "Red Butterfly" and recently wrapped up the shoot in the lead role of JESUS in "The Bible", a 10 hour mini-series produced by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey (through their production company LightWorkers Media Limited) for The History Channel (which has enjoyed a ratings high with the success of this year's "Hatfields & McCoys").
